“After being recently diagnosed with Endometriosis and struggling with the symptoms for two years I was ready to do something about it. I’m Amy, I’ve been exactly where you are..
I’m a type A, perfectionist, and serious over-thinker. My life changed drastically a few years ago. I had just finished University.. I got a job in my desired field, bought my first home, went to the gym daily, and ate what I thought I was ‘supposed to eat’. BUT all I felt was overwhelm, stress, insecurities and anxiety. I felt exhausted all the time, struggled with severe anxiety, had weekly auto-immune flare ups, couldn’t think, couldn’t sleep, and couldn’t eat without unbearable digestive upset. I was unhappy, unfulfilled, and the farthest thing from being healthy. My body’s stress response was out of control and the health issues I’d previously encountered were felt like they were doubling.
So I decided to take back my power. I became the CEO of my health and my life.
I found the right support & started peeling back layers to get to the root cause of my stressors and symptoms. I started tuning inwards and understanding the signals my body was sending me. I used healthy habits and lifestyle practices to reduce my body’s internal stress so I could begin to manage my external stress. I began working WITH rather than against my body. I started my journey to healing naturally.
Since then, I’ve become a Board Certified Functional Nutritionist, Holistic Health Coach, and Yoga Teacher. I use my passion for real health, along with my personal and professional experiences, to help women just like peel back the layers, listen to your body, and use a heart-centered, gentle approach to health & healing so you CAN show up as the best version of YOU.
