What you need:
1 mug full of hot water
Fresh ginger root
doTERRA Lemon (or fresh lemon)
Ceylon Cinnamon
Raw Honey
What you do:
Heat your water until hot and boiling, then add to a mug
Peel a thumb sized chunk of fresh ginger root and add to hot water
Allow this to steep for 2-4 minutes
Add in 1 drop of doTERRA Lemon (or squeeze about ½ fresh lemon juice)
Add a sprinkle of cinnamon and a bit of raw honey (optional)
Mix together and enjoy!
How do these ingredients support digestion and bloating?
Ginger- increases gastric emptying + decreases pressure which helps to eliminate a build up of gas
Lemon - supports proper digestion and absorption by stimulating the release of digestive enzymes and bile production
Ceylon Cinnamon - supports metabolism, digestion, and blood sugar balance
